    At an altitude of 1535 metres, Axalp is enthroned on a plateau above the turquoise-blue Lake Brienz. Whether summer or winter - numerous experiences in nature and the mountains await you here. While you hike to the idyllic green mountain lake in summer, you can glide down the snow-covered slopes with your family in winter.

    Brienzer Rothorn

    The historic steam cog railway dating back to 1892 takes you on a leisurely ride through flowering meadows and dense forests. On a clear day, the Brienzer Rothorn at an altitude of 2244 metres offers a fascinating view of 693 mountain peaks. At Berghaus Kulm, you will be spoilt with delicious, hearty specialities.

    Hotpot Brienz

    Enjoy the fresh air in the open air with a marvellous view of the mountain and lake landscape. The hotpots in Brienz offer space for two to eight people and give you an unrivalled experience with views of Lake Brienz and the snow-covered winter landscape.     Jetboat Interlaken

    Experience rapid 360-degree turns and refreshing splashes on the turquoise-coloured Lake Brienz! Whizz across the lake at high speed in a jet boat. From spring to autumn, the exciting tour takes you from Bönigen to the impressive Giessbach Falls. In winter, the route is slightly adapted so that you can enjoy the snow-covered landscape in all its splendour.

    River rafting

    Conquer the wild mountain streams of the Bernese Oberland with a rubber dinghy and paddle in hand! Together with your crew, you manoeuvre the rafting boat through roaring rapids and past mighty waterfalls, while an experienced guide helps you to safely master every challenge in the river.

    Rabenfluh Trail

    High above Thun, the flow trail winds its way through the forest, from Rabenfluh to Steffisburg. Varied elements such as waves, jumps, steep bends and natural sections with roots and loose forest floor make for an exciting riding experience. This trail is ideal for sporty bikers who already have some experience and are looking for a challenge.

    Excursion to Grindelwald

    The route climbs gently along the Lütschine to Zweilütschinen. From there, the route continues a little steeper, across meadows and through picturesque little villages until you reach Grindelwald.

    Gletschterschlucht Rosenlaui

    On a well-secured path, you hike along mighty waterfalls, through idyllic grottos and past bizarre rock formations. The power of glacier water is omnipresent: it swirls through glacier pots, tumbles over rock steps, squeezes through narrow passages and foams, bubbles and gurgles incessantly. An impressive, refreshing and breathtaking natural experience.

    Aare Gorge Meiringen

    A leisurely walk leads to one of the most famous attractions in the Bernese Oberland: the Aare Gorge. However, if you prefer to hike over the Kirchet transverse bar, which is crossed by the river, you can choose the old Grimsel path via Lammi as an alternative. Some sections of the trail are on paved ground.

    Short hike Giessbach-Iseltwald

    Although the forest trail between Giessbach and Iseltwald is not as well known as the often frequented riverside trail further down, it is well worth exploring. It leads through picturesque cultural landscapes and provides access to an impressive natural monument in the midst of wild surroundings.

    Trauffer cow carving

    Grab your carving knives and off you go! Would you like to carve the famous Trauffer wooden cow yourself? You'll learn how to attach horns, ears and the bell and you can paint the funny spots on it yourself.

    Visit to Engstlenalp with mountain lake

    A panoramic mountain hike through a water-rich valley at an altitude where nature still takes precedence over hydropower utilisation. The Gental valley impresses with numerous waterfalls and offers almost exclusively natural paths with hardly any paved sections.

    Pirate Pay

    Another highlight is the Pirate Bay Nautical Centre, located directly on the shores of Lake Brienz. Pirate Bay offers a wide range of boat hire: Whether motorboat, lounge boat, fun jetboat, pedalo, SUP, kayak or rowing boat - everyone will find the right one here.

    Hasliberg

    Numerous hiking, mountain and walking trails await you on the Hasliberg sun terrace in summer, just waiting to be discovered. The Hasliberg stands for alpine enjoyment, a fascinating dwarf world and active recreation in our impressive mountain landscape.
