Hotel Brienzerburli ***

The traditional, cosy family hotel situated in the Bernese Oberland, where all quests, whether from near or far immediately feel at home.

You will find our hotel at the heart of the village of Brienz, famed for its woodcarving tradition, unique wooden chalets and unspoilt cobbled streets, the spectacular scenery of the lake and surrounding mountains. The lakeside can be reached directly from the hotel.

The Brienzerburli, named after a famous yodel, is well known as a hotel and restaurant near and far.

Our hotel has three buildings and a total of 84 beds. All rooms are equipped with television, radio, wireless internet and safe - they are all non-smoking. We offer the following room types:

Apartment (two double rooms, one living room and one bathroom)

At the Brienzerburli, all rooms can be reached by lift and are therefore suitable for people in wheelchairs. Additionally, there is an handicapped accessible bathroom available.

Our second building, the Löwen, is situated directly by the lake and has three apartments with the same standard of comfort as the Brienzerburli. An apartment is ideal for four people - two double rooms, a living room and a bathroom. Just the thing for families !

Our three double rooms standard in the separate Swiss Chalet are just typically Swiss - naitive and original. However, you don't have to miss the same comfort as our other rooms offer!

We serve a generous breakfast buffet with bread and cakes from our own bakery, in summer this can be enjoyed on the lakeside terrace.

On previous demande, we will collect you free of charge on your arrival at the station Brienz with our hotel bus.
